Brian Altheim

Role:

• Provides mapping support, using Geographic Information Systems software
• Provides graphics support for conference posters and panels and other CNSOPB publications and presentations
• Responsible for the loading, quality control and management of offshore seismic data

Biographical Snapshot:

• Brian has 26 years of experience including 18 years with the CNSOPB
• Prior to joining the CNSOPB, Brian worked in the petroleum industry as a Geological Technician
• Has authored and co-authored numerous map sets that have been included with CNSOPB geoscience publications
• Brian has completed a number of technical training courses in geographic information systems and geoscience data management

• Bachelor of Science, Geology (Honours), Dalhousie University

More About Me:

• Brian enjoys distance running (half-marathons and marathons), and tries to run the Cabot Trail Relay Race every year 
• He enjoys travelling to Latin America when he has time off
