The Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board (CNSOPB) has completed its review and investigation of the unauthorized discharge of synthetic based drilling mud (drilling mud) that was reported by BP Canada Energy Group ULC (BP Canada) on June 22, 2018, and has determined the following:

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) has informed the CNSOPB that it will be conducting an investigation into the occurrence that was experienced by a Sikorsky S-92 helicopter operated by Canadian Helicopters Offshore (CHO) as it approached the Thebaud platform on July 24, 2019.
